  • My turkey pot pie does not make extraordinary claims about the world, mankind and what happens when we die. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. The Bible is lacking in the latter and contradictory in the former.

  • Point taken. How would you feel if the Koran, or the Kitáb-i-Aqdas, or the Doctrine and Covenants, or the Principia Discordia, or the Talmud, or the Book of the Zodiac, or any countless books consider holy scripture were left?

  • @Jerry-1927474 To be concise, you're saying only reward or punishement in the "next" life is the sole reason good exists in this world? And that evil in the world is the result of God's own creation as a way to justify/prod his lowly human creation to fawn over him and praise him?

  • Where? Let's see. Declared Federal emergency so these states will now get Federal aid - as in money and people from the federal gov't paid for with US tax dollars. But oh, right. Cut taxes, cut taxes, don't tax the rich appropriately.

  • Pray? To whom? Thor the Norse God of Thunder? Maybe Dyeus? Maybe Indra? Maybe Xolotl? Rather than ask for prayer, just ask for help. For if prayer will help after, than isn't your god to blame for the F5, F4 and smaller twisters?
